Where tox works best
More than the forehead
Most people think of frown lines and crow’s feet. These are the areas we treat most often, and several of them are not about wrinkles at all.
Frown lines
The vertical lines between the brows that make you look cross when you are not.
Forehead lines
Horizontal lines across the forehead, softened without flattening the brow.
Crow’s feet
The fan of lines at the outer corner of the eye when you smile.
Bunny lines

Natural-looking fullness and definition for a contoured shape. As well as adding volume it promotes hydration in the lip tissue. Your consultation is free either way, so if you are undecided that is the place to start.

Which one do I need
Tox relaxes. Filler restores.
They do different jobs, and plenty of people end up using both. This is the short version, and your consultation is where it gets applied to your face specifically.
Tox is for movement
Lines that appear when you make an expression and disappear when your face is at rest. Frowning, squinting, raising your brows. Tox quiets the muscle doing the creasing, so the line has less chance to set in.
Filler is for volume
Lines and hollows that are there whether you are moving or not, and areas that have lost shape or fullness. Filler puts structure back where it has gone, rather than stopping anything from moving.

Quick, with a very fine needle. Most people describe it as a pinch rather than pain, and you go straight back to your day.

Common questions
How many units will I need?
It depends on the area, how strong the muscle is and how soft or smooth you want the result. Your injector works it out at the consultation and tells you the cost before treating, so nothing is a surprise.
Will I still be able to move my face?
Yes, if that is what you want. Dosing is a choice rather than a fixed recipe. Tell your injector you want to keep expression and the plan is built around that.
How soon will I see it?
Tox usually starts softening movement in three to seven days and settles fully at about two weeks. Lip filler is visible immediately, though there is usually some swelling for the first few days.
When should I book before an event?
Give yourself at least two weeks for tox so the result has settled, and closer to three for lips so any swelling or bruising has passed. Do not book either in the same week as a wedding.
Does it hurt?
Tox is a series of quick pinches with a very fine needle and most people find it easy. Lip filler is more sensitive, so numbing is used and the filler itself contains an anesthetic.
